HAPPY UGADI 2012

Ugadi is celebrated on March 23 2012 (Friday). It is the new year for Telugu and Kannada speaking people. The name of the year 2012 – 2013 is ‘Nandhana‘. Yugadi is a combination of two words ‘Yuga’ meaning ’epoch’ or ‘era’, and ‘aadi’ means ‘the beginning.Ugadi (meaning “the start of an era” in Kannada) is the New Year’s Day for the Kannadigas and Telugus
